Ross Wolgamot passed away on August 3rd. Ross was born in Kenton, Ohio, in 1959, but spent his youth in Salem, OR where he was a member of the Marion County Sheriff’s Search and Rescue Explorer program. After high school graduation, Ross joined the Air Force and served in Korea. After his honorable discharge, he worked for both the California Department of Corrections and Tri Valley Growers. For the last 25 years, he has worked at E & J Gallo Winery as a part of the IT department.
Ross and his wife Mary recently celebrated their 36th wedding anniversary. In addition to his wife, Ross is survived by two sons, Alan and Eric, two grandchildren and three brothers. Ross is fondly remembered for his dedication to the scouting program, serving as Assistant Scoutmaster for Oakdale’s Troop 43.
A service was held at Riverbank Memorial Chapel on August 9, 4:30 p.m.
