A daughter, Makayla Qualls, was born to expectant parents Mary Gress and Kevin Qualls on Feb. 11, 2013. The baby weighed in at seven pounds, seven ounces on arrival at Oak Valley Hospital. Big sister Katelynn and big brother Landon welcomed home their new little sister.

Maternal grandparents are Sarah Finney and David Gress.

Paternal grandparents are Cheryl Powell and Doug Qualls.
