Serenity Marie Houston, a daughter, was born on March 24, 2013 to expectant parents Miranda Knapp and Brian Houston, Jr. The newborn weighed in at seven pounds, three ounces on arrival at Oak Valley Hospital.

Welcoming the baby home was big brother Brian Dale Houston III.

Maternal grandparents are Kandy Wright and Randy Bucholtz of Oakdale.

Paternal grandparents are Diana Walters and Brian Houston of Oakdale.
