Call Out For Entries: Farms & Fields Exhibit

The Carnegie Arts Center in Turlock has announced a call for entries to artists in all media for new exhibition in the Lobby Galleries to open in May 2018.

Farms & Fields is a juried, all media exhibition that seeks to celebrate the variety and importance of agriculture in the Central Valley. The final weeks of this juried show will coincide with the 2018 Stanislaus County Fair.

Artists from throughout northern and central California are invited to submit work that is influenced or inspired by the agricultural bounty of the Central Valley.

Complete rules for entering can be found on the Carnegie’s website at www.CarnegieArtsTurlock.org. Entries will be accepted online through the Carnegie website via SmarterEntry.com. All entries must be received by 5 p.m. on Sunday, April 1. There is a non-refundable entry fee of $20 for the first entry, $15 for each additional entry for non-member artists; $15 for the first entry, $10 for each additional entry for members of the Carnegie Arts Center.

Media Accepted: Oils and Acrylics, Photography and Digital Media, Prints, Drawings, Watercolors, Collage and Mixed Media, Textiles, Ceramics, Sculpture, Decorative Arts.

Awards: Grand Prize $500; Four Awards of Merit $125; Four Honorable Mentions $50.
