Donation Drop-Off Available For Hospice

A self-service donation drop-off is currently available for small gently used items only for Community Hospice.

Those with items to donate can bring them to the Donation Truck at Community Hospice, 4368 Spyres Way, Modesto.

Unattended drop-off hours are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.; attended drop-off hours are featured on Saturdays, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Donations will help support the Community Hospice Hope Chest Thrift Store.

Also, Community Hospice is now featuring “Positive Vibes” videos, family friendly stories and activities that promote healthy living. All are welcome to join in on Facebook at @CommunityHospiceCV Fridays at 10 a.m.

Hospice officials also remind residents that they are still selling ticket for a tropical vacation. The trip is scheduled for July of 2021, a one-week sty at the Keauhou Golf Course and a $500 gift card.

Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, two previously scheduled Hospice events have been cancelled; the Community Hospice Foundation Annual Gala originally scheduled for May 16 and the annual bereavement camp for children and teens, Camp Erin of the Central Valley, set for June. The camp will return in 2021.
