A pair of guitar workshops are coming up at Big Valley Grace Community Church, with both acoustic and electric sessions scheduled.

On Saturday, Feb. 18 an Acoustic Guitar Workshop will be hosted from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at The Venue at Big Valley Grace Community Church, 4040 Tully Road, Modesto. Join Associate Pastor of Worship, Tim Miller, as he walks through the basics of playing the acoustic guitar in a worship context. Acoustic guitar players of all ages and skill levels will pick up some useful tips and secrets in this workshop. Children under 12 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.

There is no cost to attend; register by Feb. 17 at bigvalleygrace.org/acousticworkshop.

In March, an Electric Guitar Workshop will be hosted in The Venue on Saturday, March 18 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.; register by March 17 at bigvalleygrace.org/electricworkshop.

If you have been playing electric guitar in a worship band for years or are simply interested in learning more, join the Big Valley Grace worship team for this workshop. Focus will be on the topic of guitar effects (pedals, racks, etc.) The workshop will be led by Chad Pippin and Jared Lee. All ages are welcome but children under age 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
