A pair of events are on the schedule later this month at Bloomingcamp Ranch, along Highway 120 just east of Oakdale.
Saturday, Sept. 24 and Sunday, Sept. 25 will feature the annual Bloomingcamp Ranch Harvest Festival, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. The festivities will include food, crafts, hayrides, a pumpkin patch, vendors, kids area, games, petting zoo, pie eating contest, car show and more. Free admission for all ages.
Adding to the weekend festivities on Sunday, Sept. 25 will be a Poker Run – Ride or Drive Out Alzheimer’s – with all proceeds benefitting the Alzheimer’s Association.
All cars, trucks and bikes are welcome, donation is $25 per driver and registration is from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m., including a poker hand and raffle ticket. You can also get an extra hand for $10. The route starts and ends at Bloomingcamp Ranch at 10528 Highway 120. There will be prizes for best and worst hand, raffle prizes and a 50-50 drawing. This is not a race; be safe and have fun.
