Bringing together their affinity for a great popular song with outstanding performances, Irishmen Damian McGinty, Keith Harkin, Paul Byrom, Ryan Kelly and Scotsman George Donaldson of Celtic Thunder pay homage to cherished holiday favorites in a special online holiday concert.

Celtic Thunder Christmas, set for Thursday, Dec 17 at 7:30 p.m., offers enthralling interpretations of seasonal classics such as “Winter Wonderland,” “It’s Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas” and “Let It Snow,” as well as original compositions such as “Christmas Morning Donegal” and “Christmas Overture.” Celtic Thunder fan favorites “Hallelujah” and their haunting a cappella version of “Amazing Grace” are also included.

Filmed in Poughkeepsie, NY in front of a live audience, this concert features recently recorded bonus footage. If you’re a fan of Celtic Thunder, the show will not be broadcast on television. This online performance is the only time you’ll be able to see them perform during the holidays.

Tickets are $35 per household, which includes streaming to one device and as many viewers as you’d like. Tickets are purchased directly from a special website for the show, at showtix4u, not from the Gallo Center ticket office. Go to showtix4u.com and type in ‘Celtic Thunder’ in the ‘Find an Organization’ search box for access to purchase tickets to the Modesto performance.

The Gallo Center has also created a package of holiday presents that will go great under a tree or in a stocking hung by your chimney with care. For just $40, you get three Gallo Center-themed gifts: a Christmas tree ornament that looks just like the front of the Center; an all-new, 18” x 24”, 432-piece jigsaw puzzle featuring poster images from hit shows at the Center; and, a royal blue, soft and comfortable face mask to wear when out and about. Your purchase will help support the temporarily-closed Gallo Center during the COVID-19 crisis. Go to the Gallo Center for the Arts website to order your package. They are available for pick-up at the Gallo Center lobby on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from noon to 2 p.m.; Wednesdays from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

The Gallo Center ticket office is closed until further notice, but members of the ticket office staff are working behind the scenes. To contact them with any questions, send an email to ticketing@galloarts.org. They will respond as promptly as possible. You can also visit the website at: www.galloarts.org.
