McHenry Mansion Schedules Annual Table Setting Event

The McHenry Mansion Foundation will host the 33rd Annual McHenry Mansion Table Setting Event. The public is invited to support the McHenry Mansion by attending this unique two-day annual fundraiser, this year offered on Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 14 and 15 at Seasons Event Center, 945 McHenry Ave., Modesto.

Preview Day will be Monday, Oct. 14 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., featuring coffee, tea or punch and dessert, along with a no host bar. Tickets for the preview day are $10 and can be purchased in advance or at the door.

The Luncheon is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 15 with the doors opening at 10:30 a.m. and lunch served at noon. There will be a no host bar and cost for the luncheon is $40, advance reservations only. Guests will view more than 35 uniquely decorated round tables set to delight. Each setting for eight will include a variety of crystal, family heirloom china, silverware and distinctive centerpieces beautifully created by McHenry Mansion Foundation members, docents, local businesses and friends of the mansion. Luncheon guests will dine while seated at one of the distinctly designed tables. Invite your friends to join you at this unparalleled local event.

Opportunity drawings, a silent auction, gift market are also scheduled for the Oct. 15 luncheon.

The McHenry Mansion is a historic 1883 house and has been open to the public as a tourist destination since 1983. Family-friendly tours of the Mansion are offered free of charge; donations are greatly appreciated.
