Modesto Junior College Department of Dance presents “Journey to Jam ‘n Jive” with performances scheduled later this month. Performances are Wednesday through Saturday, Sept. 25, 26, 27 and 28 at 7 p.m. in the Main Auditorium of the Performing and Media Arts Center on East Campus, 435 College Avenue, Modesto.

The community is invited to experience an evening of dance. Other pieces will include Queen’s 1975 cult classic “Bohemian Rhapsody” as well as contemporary artists including Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, One Republic and many more. The Explore Guides are excited to assist in this dancing journey as well as a cast of MJC Dancers.

The Modesto Junior College dance program also welcomes Jam ‘n Jive dancing friends from the community including Beyer High, Gregori High, Modesto High, Ceres High, Central Valley High, Davis High, Downey High and Central Catholic High School along with The Dance Academy, Juline Regional Youth Ballet and the Center for Urban Performance and Service (C.U.P.S.).
