The date is set for the second annual Graffiti-Con in neighboring Modesto, with the event planned for Saturday, June 23 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Modesto Centre Plaza, 1000 L St., Modesto with the classic cars parked along 10th Street.

Special Guests are scheduled to include: Carl Gottlieb, writer of Jaws, The Jerk, Caveman (writer/director) and more; Scott Schwartz, actor in The Toy, A Christmas Story, TV 101 and more; C Andrew Nelson V/A, visual effects artist and actor. He has spent more time in the Darth Vader suit than any other actor and has also voice acted in video games as both Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker, the only person to play both parts.

Alan Fernandes, an original Tusken Raider from Star Wars is slated to appear as well, along with Mark Bode, artists comic creator; Mark Aushenker, writer comic artists; and Landry Q Walker, a NY Times best-selling author.

Vendors will be on site selling vintage comics, toys and more.
