Plant And Soil Conference Features Breakout Sessions

The California Chapter, American Society of Agronomy is hosting the 2016 California Plant and Soil Conference on Tuesday and Wednesday, Feb. 2 and 3, at the Wyndham Visalia (formerly Holiday Inn), 9000 W. Airport Drive in Visalia. This conference is for consultants, farm managers, growers, researchers interested in crop production, water, salinity and nutrient management, and pest management.

The 2016 Conference theme is: California Water – Value to Agriculture, Value to Society.

Breakout sessions will include:

Professional Development; Site-Specific Technologies for Managing Nutrients and Water; Nutrient management strategies; Land and water suitability; Water-Related Management Issues; Pest/Disease Management; Manure and Organic Amendments; Greenhouse Gases and Volatile Organic Compounds in Farming Systems; Biologicals for Enhancing Crop Growth; Salinity Management.
