The Stanislaus County Fair and Uber are teaming up to bring a more accessible way for guests to attend the Fair.

The Fair and Uber are offering an exclusive promo code for guests who will download the Uber app and use it during Fair time. Guests will be able to use the promo codeBUDFAIR16-For a free ride (up to $15), for new users only.

“Our partnership with Uber offers guests new ways to simplify their travel experience to and from the Fair,” said Adrenna Alkhas, spokesperson for the Stanislaus County Fair. “Uber will allow guests to visit and enjoy the Fair without having to worry about their own transportation.”

Uber is changing the way the world moves. By connecting riders to drivers through their app, they are making large events more accessible. From their founding in 2009 to their launches in over 100 cities today, Uber’s rapidly expanding global presence continues to open more possibilities for guests and bring them closer to their cities.

A free and convenient service for guests is the Fair’s shuttle program sponsored by FOX40 and Budweiser. Guests can park at CSU Stanislaus on Crowell Avenue or park at Pitman High School in Turlock on Christoffersen Parkway and take the shuttle bus to the Fair. Shuttles depart every 15 minutes to and from the Fair’s arch gate. Schedule for the busses include Monday through Friday 4:30 p.m. to midnight; Saturday and Sunday 11:30 a.m. to midnight.

The 2016 Stanislaus County Fair opens Friday, July 8 for a 10-day run. Visit the Fair’s website for ticket sale information at www.stancofair.com.
