Understanding Alzheimer’s and Dementia will be offered through the Alzheimer’s Association, co-hosted by Adventist Health Lodi Memorial. The session is set for Wednesday, Aug. 15 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Adventist Health, Lodi Memorial Medical Center, Classrooms A & B, 975 S. Fairmont Ave., Lodi.

Topics to be covered include the impact of Alzheimer’s, the difference between Alzheimer’s and dementia, Alzheimer’s disease stages and risk factors, current research and treatments available to address some symptoms and Alzheimer’s Association resources.

Those attending are asked to enter the hospital through the main entrance and check in at the Information Desk for directions.
