Winners Honored For Work In Oak Valley Fall Art Show

Artist Jaime Kimbler took home the Best of Show honors in the Oak Valley Art Society art show hosted earlier this fall at Escalon Library for the entry ‘Praying For Rain.’

Other winners included Best of Show, Photography, artist Susan Campi, Day of the Dead.

Merchants Award from Leonardo’s Café of Escalon went to artist Jaime Kimbler for God Bless Local Farms painting; Merchant Award from The Green Pea of Escalon went to Evelyn Cooper, Snack Time, photography.

The People’s Choice Award went to Susie Hoffman for a photograph – All is Calm – and People’s Choice for painting went to Richard Jones for Village Wall.

Other first place category winners included: Renee Rondon, oil and acrylic; Susie Hoffman, soft pastels, mixed media, graphics, watermedia; Sydney Owsley, youth 7 to 9; Waillea Espino, youth 10 and up; Dana Gookin-Owens photography; Richard Jones, sculpture/three-dimensional.

Oak Valley Art Society meets the third Saturday of the month at the Escalon Library at 1540 Second Street starting at 10:30 a.m.

 

Resident and local artists are invited to attend the meetings.
