Norma H. Leiker, 82, died Saturday, Aug. 25.

She was originally from Timken, KS. She lived in Modesto 40 years.

She was a bank loan officer for 30 years until she retired in 1987.

She was a past member of Immaculate Conception Church in Grinnell, KS, a member of Our Lady of Fatima in Modesto, a lifetime member of Wheatland V.F.W. Post 2864 Auxiliary, and Grinnell National Genealogical Society.

She is survived by her daughters, Sherri Smith and Sandra Platt, both of Modesto; sister, Shirley Bruner of Scott City, KS; grandchildren, Bob Dickman of Don Pedro, John Dickman of Modesto; great-grandchildren, Alexandria Dickman of Don Pedro, Jacqueline Dickman of Modesto, Stephanie Dickman of Don Pedro, and Tristen Platt-Magallon of Riverbank.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dick and Florence Howard; husband, Clarence Leiker; and grandson, Chad Platt.

Mass, visitation, and rosary will be held at Immaculate Conception Church in Grinnell, KS. Burial will follow on Saturday, Sept. 1 at 10:30 a.m. at the Catholic Church in Grinnell.

Remembrances may be made to Grinnell Senior Center or to Hospice Community of Modesto.
