Though it looks like there are only two, there were actually three kittens in this bundle, up for adoption individually or as a group, during an ‘Adopt a Friend’ event hosted at the Oakdale Library on Saturday, June 1. That adoption day featured cats and kittens only but other adoption dates planned this month will have both felines and canines. They are scheduled June 9, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Palo Santo Café, 6333 Oakdale Road, Riverbank; June 23, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Black Sheep Kitchen and Cocktails, 3319 Santa Fe, Riverbank; and June 29, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Tractor Supply, 1580 E. F St., Oakdale.
