With the recent arrival of May comes the awareness that Mother’s Day is just around the corner. In Riverbank, that also means that the annual After Mother’s Day Omelette Breakfast is just around the corner from that.

Traditionally held the Sunday after Mother’s Day, the event is put on by the Riverbank Historical Society, with help from the Riverbank Federated Women’s Club. Breakfast is set this year for Sunday, May 19. It will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Community Center here, at 3600 Santa Fe Street. It is a fundraiser for the Historical Society, with proceeds from the breakfast helping to provide their operating expenses for the year.
