Members of the Escalon-Farmington Community Garden Club have a regular first Thursday of the month meeting scheduled for April. The meeting will be April 4, starting at 1 p.m., hosted at the Escalon United Methodist Church, 2000 Jackson Ave., Escalon.

All gardening enthusiasts from throughout the region are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Guest speaker will be April Heard from Grow Up Plants, a local business, with the topic of ‘Potted Plants’ and how to find a new way to enjoy gardening.

After the guest speaker there will be a regular meeting of the club, followed by snacks, prize drawings and a chance for socialization.
