The organizers of youth baseball and softball had scheduled player tryouts for Saturday, Feb. 1, but had to call them off. They made the announcement on social media.

“We are cancelling this weekend’s player evaluations due to weather. They will NOT be rescheduled,” the information released by the Riverbank Youth Baseball Softball Association, RYBSA, indicated.

“In an effort to expedite team rostering and uniform orders, we will draft all players of all divisions onto rosters in the next few days. Please give it some time and you will be hearing from coaches once teams are finalized.”

The league officials also thanked those impacted for their understanding.

The RYBSA first day of games is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 15.
