Bilingual Town Hall Session Set With Congressman Harder
Riverbank Fountain

A bilingual Community Town Hall is set for this Sunday, Aug. 4 at St. Frances of Rome Catholic Church in Riverbank, featuring a conversation with 10th District Congressman Josh Harder.

Father Misael Avila with Saint Frances of Rome Church said he finds it to be very important to inform the community of their elected leaders regardless of political party affiliation. The Catholic Church is non-partisan and has invited past and present officials to speak to the community they represent. This gives guests a chance to get to know their elected officials and gives them the ability in a comfortable environment to also ask questions. Everyone is invited to attend the meeting at St. Frances and the information will be shared in English and Spanish to reach more residents in the area.

At this forum, community leaders will share insights into the many ways that individuals can make their voices heard in the democratic process. Representative Josh Harder will also speak to community residents, answer questions, and listen to ideas on how he can best serve the community.

The Town Hall on Sunday, Aug. 4 will see doors opening a 10 a.m. the program running from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Saint Frances of Rome Church is at 2827 Topeka St., Riverbank. For more information call 978-885-3782.
