A special event is on the schedule, courtesy of the Riverbank Parks and Recreation Department. Officials are inviting residents to another edition of Mexico Magico, a celebration of Mexican culture and community spirit.

It will be hosted on Saturday, June 15 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Community Center, 3600 Santa Fe Street in downtown.

Officials say it will be a day filled with live music, vibrant dancing, delicious food and activities for all ages, a free event for everyone. Last year, it was a two-day event, with displays and booths both inside and outside the Community Center, and dancing groups performing in both locations.
