The City of Riverbank has announced the holiday closure schedule for its offices over the next few weeks.

Offices will close on Thursday, Dec. 22, 2022 and reopen on Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2023.

For emergencies during that time period, residents may call 1 (800) 672-9068.

In addition, the Tuesday, Dec. 13 regularly scheduled city council meeting was the last session for the year. The fourth Tuesday is the week between Christmas and New Year’s, so that meeting has been canceled.

The council typically meets on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month.

One of the items on the Dec. 13 agenda was the recognition of Vice Mayor Cal Campbell as he steps down from his seat on the council. Former councilmember and council member-elect Leanne Jones Cruz was to be sworn in, representing District Three. She ran unopposed in the recent election to fill Campbell’s post on the council.

Also to be sworn in was incumbent councilmember Luis Uribe, who represents District 1. He was also unopposed in November.
