The City of Riverbank’s Parks and Recreation Department is hosting some Easter festivities at Jacob Myers Park and Castleberg Park this month. They will have an Eggstravaganza for all ages on Saturday, April 9 at Jacob Myers Park trail. There will be two sessions of a family fun Easter egg hunt with one from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. and the second one from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. The eggs will be filled with candy. After each egg hunt session, participants will have the opportunity to take a picture with the Easter Bunny.
On Saturday, April 16 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., youth between the ages of 13 and 17 can partake in the Glow Egg Hunt at Castleberg Park, 5845 Eighth Street. There will be prizes to find like gift cards for Starbucks, Game Stop, Target, and Wing Stop.
There is no registration required. Guests are asked to bring their own baskets for both events to collect all the eggs that they find as baskets will not be provided.
