All in the community are welcome and encouraged to attend the City of Riverbank Memorial Day Celebration.

Events will begin a 11:30 a.m. on Monday, May 27 and the service is scheduled at the Riverbank Community Center Veterans Wall. The memorial wall is out in front of the Community Center at 3600 Santa Fe.

This will be a time of ‘Remembering the Fallen Heroes’ who gave their life in service to this country.

The ceremony typically includes some guest speakers and the laying of a memorial wreath as well as some special music.

Monday, May 27 is also a federal holiday; there will be no mail delivery, federal, state and local government offices are closed and businesses have the option of closing.
