National Night Out (NNO) is scheduled this year for Tuesday, Aug. 2 with a theme of “America’s Night Out Against Crime.”

On the first Tuesday night in August, neighborhoods throughout the country are invited to participate in hosting an outdoor gathering to strengthen anticrime efforts, build community relationships, and support law enforcement.

Riverbank Police Services are inviting the Riverbank community to host a gathering on Aug. 2. Nationwide, this is the 39th Annual National Night Out that will involve 16,400 communities from all 50 states that will host a variety of events like block parties, cookouts, parades, and anticrime rallies.
