City’s Seasonal H2O Schedule On Horizon

The change of seasons will soon bring a change in the landscape watering schedule that applies to residents of Riverbank.

Sprinkler systems in town can be reprogrammed effective Monday, April 1, for the summer watering schedule, according to city officials. It will remain in effect until Thursday, Oct. 31.

The change brings an extra day of watering per week, they say.

Watering is still allowed only before 10 a.m. and after 7 p.m.

For homes with even numbered addresses, watering is allowed on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

For odd numbered homes, it’s Wednesday, Fridays and Sundays.

Residents are reminded that landscape irrigation is prohibited within 48 hours after measurable rainfall regardless of the posted schedule.
