Enjoying some pieces showcased at the Carriage Art Show, Oakdale resident Gary Cox took some time on Saturday, Feb. 16 to visit the annual event. Put on through the Valley Art Association, in cooperation with the City of Oakdale and the Oakdale Tourism and Visitors Bureau, the show featured some 100 pieces of art in a variety of mediums. Artists in the Valley Art Association include those from Oakdale, Riverbank, Escalon and beyond. The monthly meetings of the Valley Art Association are the first Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at the Scout Hall, 3017 High St., in Riverbank.
