Weekend Market Set

The 48th Annual ‘Sierra Nevada Peddler’s Market’ will be held over the Independence Day Weekend, Saturday and Sunday, July 4 and 5, in the mountain resort town of Arnold, on Highway 4. The Market features over 60 booths of antiques and collectibles, original art and crafts, and vintage jewelry; just a few of the range of items offered. The Market also offers homemade, hot prepared food booths and kettlekorn. Staged on the park-like grounds of Bristols Ranch House Café at 961 Highway 4 in downtown Arnold, hours for the Peddler’s Market are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. Admission and parking are free; all are encouraged to come join the celebration.

 

Weekly TOPS Meeting

All are invited to the weekly meeting of TOPS, Take Off Pounds Sensibly, 1034, which meets on Monday mornings from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the United Methodist Church at 1480 Poplar Ave., Oakdale. The group features help with weight loss in a supportive setting. Residents of Oakdale, Riverbank, Escalon and beyond are welcome to attend. Donate Blood

Steves Chevrolet, 1285 E. F St., in Oakdale will host a Red Cross blood drive on Tuesday, July 21 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.; all eligible are encouraged to attend. The blood drive also features COVID-19 testing for blood donors. Call for additional information, 209-847-2261.
