Needy area residents who participate in Riverbank Christian Food Sharing events at the Scout Hall on Friday mornings last week were able to pick up fixin’s for a Turkey dinner. The area in front of the High Street location was set up so they were able to drive by and pick up their materials from tables on the street. The necessary ‘contactless'’ COVID delivery arrangement allowed drivers to get out and load their own meals, or, if needed, volunteers were on hand to load the food for them. As a reminder, the Christian Food Sharing site is closed on Friday, Nov. 27 in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday and will re-open for the next regular food distribution on Friday, Dec. 4.
