County Fair Closes Successful Run Of Summer Fun

Out of all the animals that were included in the kids’ zone at the Stanislaus County Fair, the groups of baby piglets were up and ready for their photo opportunity, making sure to say hi to every person passing by.

This year’s edition of the Stanislaus County Fair lived up to its slogan, The Fun is Back, as those heading to the fairgrounds in Turlock enjoyed the opportunity for a variety of entertainment.

From rides to games, food to free concerts, there literally was something for everyone at the fair, which closed its 10-day run on Sunday, July 17. Along with the traditional fair offerings, local FFA and 4-H kids were able to show and sell their animals and area residents were featured in a number of exhibits and displays, many bringing home recognition for their submissions in categories from produce to photography.
