Incidents Around The Streets Of Riverbank

Riverbank Police Services patrolled the streets this past weekend and handled a variety of calls. Here are a few calls that they handled this past Saturday and Sunday.

A Deputy conducted a probation search on Sunday, July 23 at 11:31 p.m. on a Jorge Loiza, 39, in the area of Topeka and Jackson Avenues. During the search deputies found a glass pipe, commonly used to smoke methamphetamine in his possession. He was transported and booked for possession.  

On Saturday, July 22 at 10:48 p.m. a deputy was patrolling the area of Freddi Lane and Oakdale Road when he observed a vehicle revving the engine, break traction, and drift into other traffic lanes. The deputy was able to pull over the reckless driver and issue a citation.

Home Depot on Squire Wells Way reported an incident of grand theft on Saturday around 4 p.m. approximately 45 minutes after the incident occurred. A water tank was reported stolen and the suspects were unknown.

A property damage hit-and-run occurred on Arcaro Drive on Saturday as well around 3:41 p.m. where an unoccupied parked car was backed into by an unknown vehicle causing minor damage.
