It was a busy week for sheriff’s deputies around the Riverbank area, as they handled several calls including thefts, a traffic collision, DUI, and many more.

On Sunday, Oct. 2 at 6:11 a.m., deputies responded to the 3900 block of Patterson Road on a disturbance. The suspect was not on scene when deputies arrived. The investigation is ongoing.

Later on Saturday at 6:32 p.m., deputies responded to the report of a family fight in the 6200 block of Colony Park Drive. A report was taken.

On Friday, Sept. 30 at 7:36 a.m., deputies were dispatched to the intersection of Eagle Ridge Drive and Country Manor Drive on a road hazard. Deputies located an adult female, with a shopping cart, standing in the middle of the intersection blocking traffic. She refused to move and provide information and was subsequently arrested. Deputies located methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia on her person as well.

At 3 p.m. on Friday, deputies responded to the report of a possible theft at Kohls.

On Friday at 4:45 p.m., deputies responded to the report of a traffic collision, property damage only, at the intersection of Patterson Road and Howard Avenue.

Deputies conducted a bicycle stop at the intersection of Santa Fe Street and Fifth Street on Friday at 5 p.m. A 35-year-old man was found to have over $150,000 in arrest warrants. He was booked at the PSC.

On Thursday, Sept. 29 at 2:40 a.m., deputies responded to reports of a vehicle parked on the sidewalk at Patterson Road and Third Street and a subject inside the vehicle that appeared intoxicated. Deputies located a 20-year-old man in the driver’s seat and arrested him for DUI.

At 6:15 a.m. on Thursday, deputies were dispatched to a vehicle versus bicyclist minor injury accident in front of the O’Brien’s market.

On Thursday at 8:11 a.m., deputies were dispatched to a vehicle non-injury accident at the intersection of Patterson Road and Roselle Avenue.

On Wednesday, Sept. 28 at 1:36 a.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that failed to stop at a stop sign at Homewood Way and Glow Road. The driver, a 42-year-old man, was found to be driving under the influence. He was arrested and booked at the county jail without incident.

During the evening on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m., deputies saw a subject known to them walking at the intersection of Oakdale Road and Novi Drive. The 33-year-old man was arrested for outstanding warrants.

At 7 p.m. on Wednesday, deputies responded to the report of a family fight in the 2900 block of Blacksand Creek Way.

On Wednesday at 9:45 p.m., deputies responded to the report of a traffic collision, minor injuries, at the intersection of Roselle Avenue and Claribel Road.

Deputies received a call of a drunk and reckless driver in the 6500 block of Second Street on Wednesday at 11:23 p.m. Family members followed the driver to the Carl’s Jr. parking lot where deputies contacted the driver, a 36-yer-old man who was subsequently arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.

At 12:23 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 27, deputies were dispatched to a family fight. A 36-year-old man was arrested and transported to the Sheriff Detention Center in connection with the incident.

On Tuesday at 2:19 p.m., deputies were dispatched to the intersection of Atchison Street and Fourth Street on a motor vehicle accident.

Deputies conducted a traffic stop where the driver was found to have an active outstanding warrant for their arrest on Tuesday at 3:56 p.m. The 25-year-old driver was arrested and transported to the county jail without incident.

At 4:08 p.m. on Tuesday, deputies were dispatched to a theft at Petco. The investigation is ongoing.

On Tuesday at 4:09 p.m., deputies were dispatched to a theft at Target. The investigation is ongoing.

Deputies were dispatched to a family fight on Tuesday at 8:28 p.m. Parties were separated and uncooperative with the investigation.
