There were several calls for service this past week that deputies with the Riverbank Police Services responded to including accidents, fights, and public intoxication.

On Sunday, March 20 deputies located a stolen vehicle in the 3400 block of High Street. The vehicle was returned to the owner.

At approximately 10:50 p.m. on Sunday, deputies responded to the 2200 block of Ashlar Way on a report of a stolen vehicle.

On Saturday, March 19 at 12:57 p.m., deputies responded to Claus Road and Claribel Road on a three-vehicle accident with the road blocked. No injuries were reported.

At 9:45 p.m. on Saturday, deputies were dispatched to 6300 block of Eighth Street on a theft of a Yorkie dog from the front porch. There is no suspect currently.

On Friday, March 18 at 12 a.m., deputies stopped a vehicle for vehicle code violations. The driver, a 25-year-old man, was found to be under the influence of alcohol and arrested.

At 12:45 a.m. on Friday, deputies responded to a disturbance in the 6000 block of Deep River Court. Brenna Ambalong, 30, was found to have an outstanding felony warrant. She was booked into jail.

Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a 41-year-old man on Friday at 1:55 a.m.; he was found to be under the influence of alcohol and arrested.

On Friday at 10:30 a.m., deputies investigated a check fraud that occurred at the F&M bank.

At 11 a.m. on Friday, deputies responded to an identity theft report at O’Brien’s Market. The investigation is ongoing.

On Friday at 1:45 p.m., deputies responded to an accident with injuries in the 2000 block of Patterson Road.

Deputies responded to a hit and run accident with no injuries in the 3800 block of Patterson Road on Friday at 1:45 p.m.

During the late afternoon on Friday at 2:50 p.m., deputies responded to Patterson Road and Terminal Avenue on a road rage incident that turned into a hit and run.

On Thursday, March 17 at 9 a.m., deputies responded to the report of a lost firearm in the 6000 block of Tennessee Avenue. The firearm was later located by the owner in his house.

At 9:40 p.m. on Thursday, deputies noticed an abandoned car in the roadway of Callander Avenue and Sierra Street. A 51-year-old woman was found stumbling in the roadway after leaving an area establishment on foot. She was arrested for public intoxication.

At noon on Thursday, deputies responded to a traffic collision with minor injuries at the intersection of Patterson Road and Claus Road.

On Wednesday, March 16 at 1:30 p.m., deputies responded to a petty theft at the Home Depot.

At 3 p.m. on Wednesday, deputies attempted a traffic stop on a pocket motorcycle in the area of Terminal Avenue and Claribel Road. The motorcyclist drove across the train tracks and the pursuit was canceled.

On Wednesday, March 16 at 5:30 p.m., deputies responded to a traffic collision with property damage only at the intersection of Patterson Road and Railroad Avenue.

On Tuesday, March 15 at 3:50 p.m., deputies responded to a disturbance in the 3000 block of California Avenue.

Deputies responded to the report of a grand theft in the 3000 block of Patterson Road on Tuesday, March 15 at 4 p.m.

On Tuesday at 8 p.m., traffic deputies stopped a vehicle for driving recklessly near Oakdale and Patterson roads. The driver, identified as Juan Hernandez, 32, and passenger Jose Vasquez, 53, were both arrested after the deputy located a stolen firearm in the vehicle.
