The past week had Riverbank Police Services deputies on a short pursuit, investigating assaults, disturbances, and more with several arrests made.

On Sunday, May15 at 2:44 a.m. deputies were dispatched to the 6400 block of Oakdale Road for a subject attempting to enter a closed business. The suspect fled the scene on a motorcycle and struck a parked patrol vehicle. A short pursuit was initiated and the suspect was last seen in Modesto. The investigation is ongoing.

During the evening on Sunday at 6:12 p.m., deputies were dispatched to the 2700 block of Patterson Road for an assault. The investigation is ongoing.

On Saturday, May 14 at 4:13 a.m., deputies were dispatched to the 2700 block of Patterson Road for a nude male yelling at customers. After deputies made contact, a 30-year-old man was arrested for public nuisance and possession of drug paraphernalia and booked into the Public Safety Center.

Deputies were dispatched to Doctors Medical Center for the report of an assault on Saturday at 6:52 p.m. After conducting their investigation a 59-year-old man was arrested for domestic violence and transported to the Public Safety Center.

At 11:54 p.m. on Saturday, deputies were dispatched to an accident at the intersection of Roselle Avenue and Ward Avenue.

On Friday, May 13 at 8:30 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop and located a loaded handgun in the vehicle. Victor Calderon was arrested and transported to jail for a felon in possession of a firearm. A search warrant was authorized for Calderon’s residence where additional ammunition and magazines were located.

On Thursday, May 12 at 5:50 a.m., deputies responded to the report of a grand theft in the 2900 block of Stanislaus Street. Two of the victim’s wheels were stolen from his vehicle overnight.

Later on in the morning on Thursday at 9:45 a.m., deputies conducted a parole compliance search in the 6000 block of Canter Drive. Deputies arrested a 27-year-old for an outstanding warrant.

At 10:40 a.m. on Thursday, deputies responded to the report of a grand theft in the 6300 block of Roselle Avenue.

On Thursday at 10:48 a.m., deputies responded to the report of theft by false pretenses in the 5600 block of Suttermill Drive.

Deputies conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Oakdale Road and Morrill Road on Thursday at 5 p.m. The driver led deputies on a slow speed quarter mile pursuit. The driver, a 24-year-old man, was found to be under the influence of alcohol and Xanax. The passenger, a 23-year-old man, was found to be in possession of Xanax for sale. Both were booked in jail.

On Wednesday, May 11 at 9:50 a.m., deputies responded to the report of a grand theft at the construction site at Westgate Drive and Oakdale Road.

At 9:50 a.m. on Wednesday, deputies responded to the report of a traffic collision, property damage only, at the intersection of Oakdale Road and Patterson Road.

At 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, deputies responded to the report of a court order violation in the 5700 block of Holbrook Drive.

Deputies responded to the report of a grand theft at the Ulta on Wednesday at 3:20 p.m. The investigation is ongoing.

Wednesday at 6 p.m., deputies responded to the report of vandalism in the 5700 block of Holbrook Drive.

On Tuesday, May 10 at 9:50 a.m., deputies responded to the report of vandalism at Zerillo Park. At 8 p.m. on Tuesday, deputies responded to the report of a family disturbance in the 3700 block of Nevada Avenue.

Deputies responded to the report of a family fight on Tuesday at 9 p.m., with an 18-year-old arrested in the case.
