The month of April wrapped with several calls for service including an assault, vandalism, disturbances, and trespassing for deputies with Riverbank Police Services and the calls continue in May.

On Monday, May 2 at 1:45 a.m., deputies responded to the report of a disturbance in the 3200 block of High Street. A battery report was taken.

On Sunday, May 1 at 9 a.m., deputies responded to the report of a grand theft at the intersection of Topeka Street and Fifth Street. All four of the victim’s vehicle’s wheels were removed overnight, while the vehicle was parked on the street.

Deputies responded to the report of a grand theft in the 5700 block of Eisenhower Drive at 9:50 a.m. on Sunday. Two of the victim’s vehicle’s wheels were removed overnight, while the vehicle was parked on the street.

At 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, deputies responded to the report of a fight between neighbors in the 6600 block of Olive Tree Lane.

In the afternoon on Sunday at 12:20 p.m., deputies responded to the report of a traffic collision with minor injuries in the 3600 block of Castlepark Drive.

Later on at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, deputies responded to the report of a vandalism in the 6200 block of Colony Park Drive.

On Saturday, April 30 at 2:45 a.m., deputies responded to the report of a disturbance in the 5600 block of Coloma Court. A battery report was taken.

Deputies went to the 3400 block of Sierra Street to locate a wanted female on Saturday night at 9 p.m. Sarah Atwood, 42, was arrested for an outstanding felony warrant.

At 9:18 p.m. on Saturday, deputies responded to the report of a vandalism in the 7000 block of Turnberry Lane.

On Saturday night at 10:13 p.m., deputies responded to the report of a loud party at the intersection of Terminal Avenue and Reich Lane. A large party was broken up and a report was taken.

Also that night at 10:50 p.m., deputies responded to the report of a disturbance in the Quail Meadows Mobile Home Park.

On Friday, April 29 at 12:30 a.m., deputies responded to the report of a security check at the intersection of Claus Road and Santa Fe Street.

At 1:30 p.m. on Friday, deputies responded to the report of a found knife in the 7000 block of Firethorn Drive.

Deputies responded to the report of a disturbance in the 2500 block of Patterson Road on Friday at 4:50 p.m.

On Thursday, April 28 at 6:15 p.m., deputies responded to the report of trespassers in the Del Rio Theater. A 21-year-old man was located hiding under the stage. The man refused to identify himself or talk; he was subsequently arrested for trespassing and obstruction.

At 9:30 p.m. on Thursday, deputies responded to a disturbance in the 6700 block of Estelle Avenue.

On Wednesday, April 27 at 12:30 p.m., deputies responded to the report of a traffic collision with injuries in the intersection of Claribel Road and Squire Wells Way.

On Tuesday, April 26 at 7:30 a.m., deputies investigated a disturbance in the 6200 block of Don Court with an arrest reported.

At 10:20 a.m. on Tuesday, deputies responded to the report of a stolen vehicle in the 2700 block of Stanislaus Street.

Deputies responded to the report of a student caught with a pocketknife at the Riverbank Language Academy charter school on Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. The knife was confiscated, and the juvenile was cited.

On Tuesday night at 8:30 p.m., deputies arrested Matthew Evans, 33, in the 5900 block of Chancellor as he had a felony warrant.
