Continuing a busy month of June, deputies with Riverbank Police Services made several arrests during the past week including ones for outstanding warrants, trespassing, public intoxication, and drug possession.

On Sunday, June 12 at 11:25 p.m., deputies conducted a traffic stop and contacted a 30-year-old man. He was booked into the Public Safety Center for outstanding warrants.

On Saturday, June 11 at 5:38 a.m., deputies were dispatched to the area of Terminal Avenue and Dakota Avenue for a property damage hit and run.

Deputies were dispatched to the 2400 block of Claribel Road for the report of a trespassing on Saturday at 1:16 p.m. Upon arrival they contacted a 39-year-old woman in the area. After conducting their investigation, she was transported to the Public Safety Center to be booked for trespassing.

At 6:31 p.m. on Saturday, deputies were dispatched to a non-injury accident in the 3500 block of Patterson Road.

Later Saturday night at 11:32 p.m., deputies were dispatched to the report of a verbal argument in the 3400 block of Stanislaus Street. After conducting their investigation, a 42-year-old woman was arrested for trespassing and transported to the Public Safety Center.

On Friday, June 10 at 8:43 a.m., deputies were dispatched to the 2300 block of Country Manor for the report of a family fight.

At 11:06 a.m. on Friday, deputies were dispatched to the 6100 block of Claus Road for a verbal dispute.

Deputies were dispatched to the 2300 block of Claribel Road for a report of a possibly intoxicated subject on Friday at 1:18 p.m. Deputies arrived on scene and contacted a 63-year-old man in the area. After completing their investigation, he was booked for public intoxication.

On Thursday, June 9 at 12:30 a.m., deputies responded to the report of a disturbance involving a vehicle at the intersection of Oakdale Road and Novi Road. Police said a subject identified as Jacob Mcamis, 26, was arrested for felony domestic violence, carjacking, violation of probation and violation of a court order. Authorities said Mcamis became angry, grabbed the keys from the vehicle and threw the victim out of the car, causing visible injuries.

At 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, deputies responded to the report of a male rifling through the bed of the victim’s truck in the 6300 block of Jackson Avenue. As deputies arrived, the suspect fled on foot. The 52-year-old man was later taken into custody.

Deputies responded to the report of an intoxicated female, passed out on the sidewalk, in the 3600 block of Virginia Avenue on Thursday at 5:50 p.m. Deputies arrived and found the 56-year-old woman unable to take care of herself due to alcohol intoxication. She was arrested for being drunk in public.

On Wednesday, June 8 at 12 a.m., deputies responded to the report of revenge pornography; the investigation is ongoing.

At 11 a.m. on Wednesday, deputies responded to an area business for the report of a credit card skimmer; the investigation is ongoing.

Deputies conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Roselle Avenue and Fern Court on Wednesday at 7:15 p.m. Douglas Wilson, 59, was found to have outstanding felony warrants and was in possession of suspected methamphetamine. Wilson was arrested for the charges.

On Tuesday, June 7 at 11:20 a.m., deputies responded to the report of fraudulent checks in the 5600 block of Boone Park Drive.

Deputies were dispatched to the 3300 block of Stanislaus Street on a disturbance on Tuesday at 2:24 p.m. Upon arrival, deputies heard several people arguing with each other. Deputies separated the parties involved. While de-escalating the situation a 19-year-old man began to entice a fight in the presence of the deputies. Deputies held him back and he was subsequently arrested for obstructing and delaying an investigation.

At 9 p.m. on Tuesday, deputies responded to the report of a residential burglary in the 6800 block of Fourth Street. The victim left his residence unlocked and came home to find items missing from inside the residence. The victim checked his cameras and found someone had entered the house and taken property. The investigation is ongoing.

On Monday, June 6 at 5:20 p.m., deputies were dispatched to the intersection of Oakdale Road and Claribel Road on a motor vehicle accident. No injuries were reported, and parties exchanged information.
