A bomb threat was among the calls that kept deputies with the Riverbank Police Services busy this week; there were no injuries in that incident. Other calls ranged from thefts to arrests for driving under the influence.

On Sunday, July 24 at 8:57 p.m., deputies investigated a domestic incident near Gold Hill Drive and Donner Trail. A 33-year-old man was subsequently arrested in connection with the case.

On Friday, July 22 at 7 a.m., deputies stopped a vehicle near Oakdale Road and Squire Wells Way. The driver, a 53-year-old man, was found to be under the influence and was arrested for DUI.

During the evening on Friday at 6:45 p.m., deputies responded to a bomb threat at Galaxy Theatre in the 2500 block of Patterson Road. An anonymous person called reporting a bomb at the location. Theatre staff evacuated the location and a thorough search was completed by authorities. No suspicious items were located; however, the investigation is ongoing.

On Wednesday, July 20 at 12:35 a.m., deputies were dispatched to the 6000 block of Coad Lane on a dispute. A 29-year-old man was arrested in connection with the incident and transported to the county jail.

During the afternoon on Wednesday at 2:29 p.m., deputies were dispatched to the Ulta store in the Crossroads for a reported theft of multiple beauty products. The suspect was gone when deputies arrived. The investigation is ongoing.

On Monday, July 18 at 8:14 a.m., deputies were dispatched to the 2700 block of Glow Road on a violation of a restraining order. The investigation is ongoing.

Deputies were dispatched to the 6400 block of Claus Road on a two-vehicle accident with no injuries on Monday at 9:01 a.m. Deputies assisted to clear the road and exchange information.
