Starting off a busy month of August, deputies with Riverbank Police Services handled a variety of calls ranging from credit card fraud to a fight at an elementary school.

On Saturday, Aug. 6 at 4:29 p.m., deputies were dispatched to Morrill Road and Newbrook Drive on a non-injury motor vehicle accident.

On Friday, Aug. 5 at 12:30 a.m., deputies responded to the report of a family disturbance in the 2700 block of Nevada Avenue. A report was taken, the investigation is still ongoing.

During the afternoon on Friday at 1:30 p.m., deputies responded to the report of a credit card fraud in the 2700 block of San Juan Avenue.

At 1:30 p.m. on Friday, deputies responded to a fight at California Elementary School between students. A report was taken.

Later on Friday at 3 p.m., deputies responded to the report of a commercial burglary at a storage facility on Patterson Road.

Deputies responded to the report of an intoxicated subject at Jacob Myers Park on Friday at 7:50 p.m. A 70-year-old man was found intoxicated and unable to care for himself at the park. He was transported and booked at jail.

At 8:35 p.m. on Friday, deputies responded to the report of a traffic collision with injuries at the intersection of Terminal Avenue and Wisconsin Court; a head on collision between two vehicles. No drugs or alcohol were found to be a factor. The investigation is still ongoing.

On Thursday, Aug. 4 at 1:40 p.m., deputies responded to the report of a petty theft in the 3600 block of Iowa Avenue.

On Wednesday, Aug. 3 at 8:30 a.m., deputies responded to the report of a vandalism in the 3400 block of Sierra Street.

At 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, deputies responded to the report of a petty theft in the 3400 block of Topeka Street. On Wednesday at 3:45 p.m., deputies responded to the report of a petty theft at the Ulta.

During the afternoon on Wednesday at 5:20 p.m., deputies responded to the report of a hit and run collision, property damage only, in the 2300 block of Mc Allister Lane. At 10:45 p.m. on Wednesday, deputies responded to the report of a credit card theft at the Dollar General.

Deputies responded to the report of a subject with a gun in the 2000 block of Goldstone Way on Wednesday. Authorities said the 23-year-old subject reportedly committed a series of crimes in the City of Modesto, before fleeing the scene with a firearm and heading to Riverbank. Deputies formulated a tactical plan and approached the residence only to find the suspect had left the area prior to their arrival. The Modesto Police Department is spearheading the investigation.

On Tuesday, Aug. 2 at 12 a.m., deputies responded to the report of a traffic collision in the 2600 block of Santa Fe Street. One subject was arrested for drunk in public.

At 2 p.m. on Tuesday, deputies observed a 46-year-old man known to them in the 2900 block of Ward Avenue. He was booked for outstanding warrants.

Later on Tuesday evening at 7:30 p.m., deputies responded to the report of a family disturbance in the 6100 block of Claus Road with an incident report was taken.

Deputies responded to the report of a hit and run collision, with injuries, at the intersection of Patterson Road and Eighth Street on Tuesday at 10 p.m. The suspect fled the scene prior to the arrival of deputies. The investigation is ongoing.
