Crossing Work Postponed

Riverbank motorists have been noticing a warning sign posted near the intersection of First Street and Patterson Road, adjacent to the Burlington Northern Santa Fe railroad crossing near downtown. Work originally planned for this week has been delayed. The closure is now scheduled for Monday and Tuesday, June 22 and 23.

Slated previously for June 18 and 19, 8 a.m. until 5 p.m., the work on Patterson Road between First Street and Roselle Avenue will see closure of the roadway there due to construction at the BNSF Railroad Crossing. Traffic detours will be in place. Drivers are advised use either the Highway 108 overpass or go south to use Claribel Road.
