The annual crab feed put on through the Central Valley Community Resources, CVCR, is on the schedule for Saturday, Feb. 14.

This Valentine’s Day special event will be hosted at the Riverbank Community Center, 3600 Santa Fe St., Riverbank. There will be a silent auction open from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., with dinner served from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

This year marks the ninth annual ‘Crabby Love Affair’ put on by the local organization.

“The proceeds from this event support our Transitional Housing Placement program for young adults ages 18-21 in extended Foster Care,” said Darlene Barber-Martinez of CVCR.

The menu features Caribbean style crab, tri-tip, Jambalaya rice and more.

Single tickets are available for $85 and tables of eight are offered at $600. DJ Danny will be on hand throughout the evening to provide the music.
