Día De Los Niños At Riverbank Library

Día de los niños which is day of the kids and Día de los libros which is day of the books is a celebration that will be held at the Riverbank Library on Saturday, April 13 at 1 p.m. This fun, free family event highlights literacy. “Once Upon a Día” is the theme of this year’s celebration, which highlights the importance of early literacy for children.

This fun and educational event is open to the entire family. Children and families will be treated to a special bilingual StoryTime, crafts, folkloric dancers, light refreshments and a children’s book giveaway (while supplies last).

Día de los niños/ Día de los libros is a national celebration, held annually in the spring, that brings families together and emphasizes the importance of literacy for every child, regardless of linguistic and cultural background.

This free event is supported by the Friends of the Riverbank Library. The Riverbank Library is at 3442 Santa Fe St., and free parking is available on the street.
