Delicato show open for viewing artwork
delicato
The wine tasting room at the Delicato winery.

More than 135 entries submitted this season have been judged with just over 85 pieces of fine art accepted for display in the Delicato Tasting Room, 12001 S. Highway 99, Manteca.

There is a vast selection of themes ranging from landscapes, farm life and wild animals to portraits and florals. All art displayed is for purchase.

The exhibit is on display in the Delicato Winery Tasting Room through Saturday, Feb. 25. All Delicato visitors and friends of the artists are welcome to view and vote for their favorite piece of art during the show. The artist who collects the most votes will receive the Visitor’s Choice Award and a $100 Delicato gift certificate.

The Tasting Room is open seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Dorothy Indelicato was the inspiration for this show; she loved how art and wine brought the community together in a positive sway. She found it rewarding to see artists and winery guests enjoying conversation that connected wine with art. Indelicato was inducted into the Manteca Hall of Fame in 1993 for her years of promoting the arts in the local community.
