Deputies Handle Cases In City Of Action

This past week Riverbank Police Services deputies dealt with a few calls including drugs, warrants, and a DUI. 

On Sunday, Sept. 20 deputies conducted an enforcement stop on a vehicle for vehicle code violations. During the stop on Atchison and Seventh streets the driver was found to have a small baggie of what appeared to be methamphetamine on his person.

Earlier in the week, a 20-year-old man was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol on Wednesday, Sept. 16 after passing through Terminal Avenue at a high rate of speed.

Deputies learned a 24-year-old man had four warrants for his arrest on Tuesday, Sept. 15. After they contacted him, the subject was arrested for the warrants on the 3600 block of Stanislaus Street.

During a traffic enforcement stop on Monday last week deputies located an illegal switchblade knife on a 29-year-old man, who was subsequently arrested for the possession of the knife.
