American Veterans First officials delivered several meals to veterans throughout the community last week, in an effort to bring joy and a hot meal to those that may be in need. The meals were donated to AVF from Josh Towe from Empire and included tri tip, mashed potatoes, vegetables and rolls. The organization assists in providing services for veterans and the community. American Veterans First is also hosting its Christmas Toy Drive from now through Dec. 15 for the children of Central Valley Foster Care, Inc. of Riverbank. Donate a new unwrapped toy for newborns to children up to 18 years old to brighten their holidays.
