There were several families at the Valentine Fish Craft offered at the Riverbank Library on Thursday, Feb. 12. Participants had the opportunity to make their own Valentine fish to take home, with many colorful creations completed during the special fun activity.

Additional programs upcoming include today, Feb. 18 or next Wednesday, Feb. 25 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. the public may visit the library for assistance with tax preparation by Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) volunteers, who are trained by the IRS. Space is limited so call the Riverbank Library at (209) 869-7008 in advance to make an appointment.

The Riverbank Library Book Club will meet on Tuesday, Feb. 24 at 4 p.m. to discuss The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society by Mary Ann Shaffer. Library book clubs provide an opportunity for community members to expand their knowledge of books through meaningful discussion with others. A limited number of books are available for checkout at the library’s circulation desk.
