The COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic has increased in cases throughout the United States and so has the demand for food and essentials like toilet paper that distributors cannot keep up with. The local Save Mart in Riverbank, like many other stores, had empty shelves in a number of areas, including the marinated meats and seafood section last week.
