Save the date: Saturday, April 1 will be a busy day at the Escalon United Methodist Church, as it will be the site for the second annual Plant Sale hosted by the Escalon-Farmington Community Garden Club.

The sale will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and the church is at 2000 Jackson Ave., Escalon. All are welcome and encouraged to stop by to browse and shop.

Those attending the sale will find everything from colorful, hardy flowers to vegetables such as tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, zucchini and more. Also, some succulents and annuals will be available as well. All proceeds benefit the group’s charitable projects, including their scholarship fund for area students.
