Not all business members of the Riverbank Chamber of Commerce have storefronts. Some, like the Tupperware Lady, shown here, work from home but still provide an essential service. This was part of the chamber’s Business Expo, at the Community Center on Thursday, June 12. Ric McGinnis/The News

The Riverbank Chamber of Commerce staged its second business expo on Thursday, June 12 at the Community Center.

It was billed as an opportunity for members to showcase their businesses and shop with other members at the same time. It provided a time for networking as well as casual conversation.

Participation was free for Chamber members, with a small fee for non-members, and it was free for the public to attend.

The Chamber also periodically offers popular “Lunch-n-Learn” gatherings and the most recent session featured the topic of creating a vision for one’s personal and public life.

The project included designing a personal vision board, to reflect goals, inspirations and life moments. The “Lunch-n-Learn” daytime sessions cover a variety of topics in a smaller setting, with attendees enjoying lunch and the informational program.
