A utility worker utilizes a lift bucket while tending to power and camera circuits on a light pole along Patterson Road on a recent afternoon. Motorists weren’t hampered during the maintenance because he was able to park his truck in the parking lot and off the street. The pole is located in the curve where Patterson continues straight east and Highway 108 follows north on Callander Avenue, then east into downtown Riverbank. The pole is located right in front of Carl’s Jr. From the position of the cameras, it appears as if they are pointed both east and northwest, seeming to have about a 180-degree view of the road.
